Spend a lot of summer evenings out on your deck or patio getting mosquito bites? Don’t let the mozzies take away your enjoyment of nights on the patio. Instead, add an umbrella screen enclosure to your patio set. Doing this will keep you from getting all bit up!
These budget mosquito screens are perfect for late summer nights out on the deck or patio. The great thing about these, other than keeping you bite-free, is that they are fairly inexpensive.
Plus, no one wants to spend the next day scratching at all those itchy bites! Even if you have some of those anti-mosquito torches, you should still get one of these. What have you got to lose, right?
If you’re in the market for one, let me tell out about the best ones I’ve found that are available to buy right now.
Pure Garden Outdoor Umbrella Screen
While is can be relatively easy to find black patio umbrella mosquito screens, the same is not true for white ones.
So, if you prefer white to black, then I suggest that you order up this one while it is still in stock.
It comes in two different sizes – 7 1/2 ft and 9 ft – so you should definitely be able to use it. Just be sure to order the correct size!
The screen itself is mesh, so you can easily see through it but the mozzies can’t get in to bite you.
The entrance is zippered and it stays in place once you fill the bottom perimeter tube with water to anchor it.
It is super lightweight and the top has a drawstring cinch to ensure that it fits any patio umbrella.
Garden Creations Outdoor Umbrella Table Screen
Want a black screen patio enclosure? If so, these are your best bet. One is for size 7.5 foot and the other is for 9 foot umbrellas.
Like the white option above, this one has a zippered enclosure.
It also has the water tube that must be filled to keep it in place. For strong winds, you might want to get some stakes though. I used to live in Texas and there is no way this would stay in place there without some extra yard stakes to hold it in place.
The top has a drawstring so that you can cinch is closed around any type of umbrella.
Coleman 12 x 10 Pop up Canopy Gazebo with Net
If you want to cover your patio table with a pop-up tent or gazebo instead of an umbrella, then this is your best option.
You get the shade of an umbrella as well as the mesh screen.
Just keep in mind that you need access to the actual ground so that you can drive stakes to anchor the gazebo in place.
The great thing about this over an actual umbrella is that you can easily leave it up all year long since it is a little stronger in terms of dealing with the wind.Advertisement:
